Sanitize (write all 0’s) to a Windows HDD

*** NOTE ***: You cannot write zeros to the HDD if you are booted to that partition

  1. Boot the computer to Windows PXE if a WDS server is available to you.

–  OR –

Boot to a windows CD/USB

2. Bring up a command prompt and enter the following commands

  • diskpart
  • select disk <0>
  • clean all
